Tonight this envelope gets opened and everything will change! Jordan decided that after high school he wanted to serve a 2 year mission for our church, so he went through the application process. The "mission call" arrived earlier this week and he can hardly wait to open it. We will open it tonight (we were waiting for everyone to be able to be here when he opens it) and see where in the world he will be going.
I am proud of him that he is willing to give 2 years of his life to serve God and others. I'm also glad that he has been saving his money so that he can afford to do this. It will be a tremendous character building experience! We will miss him so much! Now, let's hope I can wait patiently until he opens the letter:).
